Chat Tags

We've compiled a list of hashtags that are "chat tags" or center around discussion and engagement. Generally, participants meet on Twitter during a certain time period and everyone participating in the chat will tag their messages with the corresponding hashtag. In most cases a moderator is present to ask questions and facilitate the discussion.

The most popular tools for hashtag chats are Twitter Search, Tweet Grid, TweetDeck and TweetChat. You can also watch and participate in hashtag chats directly on the hashtag's page by connecting your Twitter accounts to your WTH?! account.

If you would like to merge a hashtag chat with a video or audio stream, try twebevent. You can create your own for free just by adding your hashtag (without the '#' at the end of the http://twebevent.com/ string.
