From @AndreaMeyer 12/10 topic: Open Innovation & Highlights from the Open Innovation Summit
Last week's Open Innovation Summit #OIS09 got a lot of Twitter traction. Whether you participated in #OIS09 or not, join us on 12/10 #innochat to discuss ideas on Open Innovation. (Framing post by @AndreaMeyer is here: http://innochat.ning.com/forum/topics/framing-for-10-december The range of topics we can discuss are wide-ranging: choosing a partner, OI metrics, innovation roles, collaboration maturity, managing expectations, traps to avoid, etc.
Q1 Whether you participated live or via Twitter, what takeaways did you get from the Open Innovation Summit #OIS09?
Q2 What challenges do you see in OI?
Q3 What successful examples or tips can you share?

11/5 chat topic: How to be innovative in a company that isn't. Framing post to come by @gwen_ishmael. See new Ning site (minimalist at this point!) at http://innochat.ning.com ....
From @Renee_Innosight:
Planning to relaunch #innochat at 12 pm EDT on Thursday, Oct. 29, just using Twitter (recommend participants use Tweetchat or Tweetgrid). I'd like to do a one-hour format. This first one will be focused on a (hopefully short!) discussion of time/date, and then some discussion of topics and guest moderators for future chats. Come prepared with ideas for future chats. Once we kick this off, we can really start talking again!
From @Renee_Innosight:
Stone Payton, who did a great job of organizing Innochat in the first place, is passing Innochat on to its participants. Gwen Ishmael and I have offered to reorganize. We propose:
Let's move #Innochat off Yammer so people can participate from where ever they choose.
We'd use the #innochat hashtag so discussions can be viewed at wthashtag.com, transcripts pulled, etc.
We'd use the same operating structure #SMCHAT has adopted - 1 primary "lead" and several "guest hosts"
I've offered to act as lead for now. I'll create a schedule of weekly topics perhaps 3 - 4 weeks ahead of time.
Guest hosts each would take a week and facilitate that discussion topic.
If the guest host has a scheduling conflict, they would notify the lead who would recruit another host.
Any one #innochat member can suggest a discussion topic to the lead, who will add it to the schedule and recruit a host.
The 1 PM Eastern time slot appeared to work well. Are there any concerns about returning to that time?
