Description
Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped in South Lake Tahoe on June 10, 1991; a blond, blue-eyed 11-year-old in a pink top and pink pants, walking to a bus stop to get to school on a warm June morning. On August 26th, 2009, 18 years later, she walked into a California police station with two daughters in tow, having spent almost two decades in isolation under the control of her captor. #sinceiwas11JC is tribute to Jaycee, as we reflect on our lives since we were children. Use it how you see fit.
A lot has happened since you were eleven. This is a simple way of reflecting on things we might take for granted.
