Summary: The DelCor Social Media Sweet Spot is a live weekly webcast for association professionals aiming to harness the power of social media. We examine current happenings within the association world and reflect on the impact of social media on association staff and members. It’s a chance to talk about the online chats, the events and meetings, and the blog posts relating to social media for associations – and the various tools we use to engage. Some great ideas and helpful resources emerge from each week’s Sweet Spot webcast, along with the Sweet Spot Award for an association demonstrating effective use of different types of social media, from video to microblogging and everything in between.

KiKi L’Italien (@kikilitalien), senior consultant in technology management at DelCor and author of the Acronym Soup blog, reviews the best (and worst) of the week and answers your questions live from the Twitterstream. Occasionally, special guests show up to highlight other topics and resources relevant to social media practitioners – and to keep things loose! It’s lunch time, after all – or breakfast if you’re a west coaster. Join the Social Media Sweet Spot every Friday at noon ET and follow hashtag #sweetspot for regular updates.
